We had a sucky start to this day.
The brakes failed on our Saturn automobile this morning. We had the car into the shop on Friday and the brakes were dry and okay. We had a caliper replaced and the brake fluid bled. Going down Octerloney St. this morning, I went to do a 90 degree turn onto Victoria Road and we had no braking ability. I overshot the turn and applied the parking brake, so there no harm to anyone or any car . We had to call a tow truck The car was taken to the same garage that we were at on Friday. He is going to take a good look at it - So we wait for his opinion.

I wrote a note yesterday, and in trying to file it, I lost it!!! Grumble grumble, grumble.
Here I go again.

Such wonderful pictures of gardens, all budding or in bloom.
I have a lovely bunch of rubard planted in my garden now. Thanks to Sileas and Estele I was gifted this plant, in exchange for a dish of rubarb crumble. First thing is that the roots need to get over their "root shock" and perk back up. I look out at it every morning as I get my breakfast. It makes me very happy.
My next step is going out to Lakeland Plant World and use my Christmas presents from Susan (my sister-in-law) and Joy & Ted. That will be such fun.
I have pots and some soil. I need to buy more dirt, some fertilizer and some plants!!!!
I started some sweet peas from seed in my kitchen. The bloody sprouts are up a full 12". I will begin harding them off this week-end and hopefully plant them next weekend.
My userpic is from the Public Gardens in Halifax - Spring Flowers
